Shreyas Harish

I am an alumnus of IIT Madras (2013-18), having earned a B.Tech and M.Tech in computer science and engineering. In IIT Madras, I was elected to the post of cultural affairs secretary, graduated as the best outgoing student (cultural activities) and received the institute blues award.

I have worked with Reckitt (then Reckitt Benckiser) (2018-2020) for 2 years. I joined as a management trainee in sales and marketing. I was the only management trainee to be confirmed into the national sales development team as the assistant manager GTM, heading national sales automation.

I am an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad (2020-22), where I earned an MBA. I graduated as an institute scholar, consistently ranking amongst the top 10 students in my batch.

I worked with McKinsey and Co. as a junior associate (2022-2024) for 2 years. I was rated amongst the top 5% of my cohort, on the fast-track to becoming a partner at the firm.

I am currently employed with Revolut, as a part of the global strategy and operations team (2024-till date).

is Learning

I have spent about 21 years of my life formally studying in some educational institute or the other. In this time, I suppose that I have developed some love for the process of learning.

I am still unable to put my finger on what exactly it is that I want to learn. Sometimes I enjoy diving deeper into my comfort zones of business and computer science. At other times, I enjoy exploring territories of art and history, which are brand new to me.

I have also developed a particular interest in getting meta, and learning about education itself.

Whatever the case, I love the idea of committing much of my free time to learning in some way or form. I intend to use this website to document most of what I learn. And I hope to be able to further pass on and teach some of what I have learnt.

I have developed an appreciation for the benefits of documenting everything that I learn, and sharing the same with a wide audience.

To this end, when I "learn in public", I hope to:

1. Organise and document my notes and learnings for my own reference.
2. Share my notes and learning process with anyone who might benefit from the same. I strongly believe that open source learning makes the world a better place.
3. Benefit from constructive feedback from anyone who is willing to share their thoughts and ideas with me.

Thus, I hope to use this website as a public home to as much of my learning and notes as I can document. I shall also attempt to use some of my social media handles to share some of what I am learning, in the hope of reaching a wider audience and learning from more people.
