- 1tbsp curd (set from earlier or purchased)
- 1 red chilli (dried)

Steps to Prepare

1. Set Curd

  1. Break open a red chilli and place it in a container. A chilli is used to ensure that it sets even in the winter, when it's cold (difficult to set in the cold).

  2. Boil milk and pour into container (while hot and boiling).

  3. Add a spoonful of curd to the container. Mix the cur around a little and ensure that it is well distributed in the milk. Complete mixing isn't required.

  4. Put the dish away (outside in the warmth).
  5. Wait for a day. After the curd has set, leave it in the fridge to cool.
