Hindi (language)

I would like to learn Hindi in a lot more depth. I must first improve my comprehension and fluency in the language. If I could also build up the capability to appreciate some literature from a more technical stand point, that would be wonderful.

Reading & Writing

Having already learnt a fair amount of Hindi, being able to read and write can really supplement and speed up the re-learning process. I have therefore taken the same starting point here. From a quick google search, I have found a useful website which outlines the basic Devanagiri script. While there are more nuances involved in reading and writing the language, I think this level of detail is sufficient, to supplement my main goal of improving my Hindi fluency.

Family Relationships

Coincidentally, after my wedding it made sense to learn the various family relationship names in Hindi. And so that is now also a useful starting point to building up my working Hindi vocabulary. I have documented the key relationships in Hindi and Tamil in a medium article .
